Just an hour away from Lisbon, near the village of Santa Catarina in the outskirts of Alcácer do Sal, Vale Sabroso possesses equestrian facilities that can match the best seen in Europe.
Since its beginning the Vale Sabroso Equestrian Centre hosted numerous competitions of the Portuguese National Circuit and several fixtures of The Harley-Davidson International Horse Trials. This competition has been proving to be very iconic attracting each year more and more riders from all over the world.
In 2011 Vale Sabroso hosted the European Championships for Juniors, vastly recognized as one of the most successful events in this category. This recognition, in particular by the International Equestrian Federation, encouraged a bid to another championship.
In September 2014 Vale Sabroso was stage for another European Championships, this time for Young Riders. 50 future stars rode an amazing competition and had the time of their life.
In 2015 Vale Sabroso continues hosting great events, starting in February with another Harley-Davidson Horse Trials. Come and see us!
